1990's Movies - 1960's to 1990's
Movies in the 1990's were plentiful. Many movies of any imaginable genre were coming out and making an impact. Comedies, dramas, and animated films were the most popular genres. In the 1960's, technology was not as advanced and not as many movies were being released. Restrictions were heavier as well, compared to the very limited restrictions of the '90s. People could relate to films more later than in the past. Movies have become more and more apart of pop culture because movies now have more and more meaning. Besides from the classics, older movies are bland and boring. New movies are exciting and bringing new thoughts and lerspectives to the table. Its an everchanging evolution, but one that is smack dab in the middle of American society.

1990's TV - Connection to Decade
1990's TV - Connection to Decade
TV in the '90s was an important part of pop culture. TV was a perfect representation of the decade itself. Scandal and happiness. The happiness of sitcoms and comedy of shows like SNL was important in the TV industry. But scandal and raunchiness on television was a new breed of TV. Shows like the Simpsons and South Park tested the kimits and expanded the boundaries alongside SNL and Family Guy. The connection wasn't huge, but it was substantial enough to make an impact. TV fed off of the current events of the decade, and this was important for America going forward and dealing with the issues.

1990's - Clinton Impeachment
The entire Clinton situation depicts the '90s perfectly. America just loves drama and scandal. America will buy into anything that involves someone of prominence. For some reason, the American public loves it, and they loved this. Should Clinton have been impeached? Absolutely not. At a regular day job, if you cheat on your wife, are your fired? No. Clinton, like everyone else, made mistakes and this was his biggest. Clinton cheating on his wife in no way affects the way he's able to govern his country. In no way does it matter, besides to the republicans in Congress. Should he have been found not guilty? Yes. There was no substantial evidence and nothing that would significantly incriminate him. This event resonated as just another typical American fantasy. President sleeps with intern, gets caught, gets in trouble, news covers it 24/7. America bought into and loved it, changing the landscape of the 1990's.

The new standards lf music and allowance of new styles let new musicians and groups to succeed. The mucis of this decade says alot about the decade itself. The decade was one of many different storylines. There was music for all of it. There was someone or some group that could relate to a group of people in the '90s. 1990's Music - How'd it Change? (60's-90's)
1990's Music - How'd it Change? (60's-90's)
Music in the '90s compared to the '60s is absolutely breathtaking. The differences are uncanny. Music in the 1960's was all about love and good things (until the depressing drugged out stage of the late '60s). In the 1990's, music was about more than this. All tyoes of music were at full flight persay. Rock, punk, pop, and rap displayed all the emotions of this decade. The technology advanced music into completely new phases, as it still does. Music was more complicated as time grew on. The '60s brought simple music and meaningful lyrics. The '90s brought a new breed of lyrics and meanings. Music evolved just as the world did.
