1980's Music: Difference/Likes of 1970's

In the '80s and '70s, there were slight differences in music. The 1970's brought Arena Rock to the mainstream. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc. This decade was primarily Rock and more electric guitar music. Also, the addition of punk rock and disco set the stage for the new pop style of the 80's. The addition of disco gave a more electronic and upbeat style of music for dancing. This music with a good chorus and lyrics makes a 1980's pop hit. Madonna, Michael Jackson, and other pop stars revolutionized music. The likes? The creation of disco led to the evolution of pop coinsided with each other. The differences? Auto tune and the rated R lyrics of rap and punk rock in the '80s differed majorly from the Arena Rock Gods of the '70s. The new styles were erected from the old ones, but the new genres of the '80s made the 80's what they were.
